How much is the entry fee?
Register before April 1 to snag the early registration fee of $25.00, afterwhich the race registration fee is $30.00. The race registration fee includes the run, as well as the BoomTown post-race celebration including food and beverages. Taco Boy will have additional items for sale.

How do I register for the race?
Register online or email info@ifivek.com for a downloadable registration form and return via mail along with a check made payable to the Charleston Digital Corridor. Completed registration forms and payment should be mailed to Attention: iFive:K 475-A East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29403.

 ** There will be no race day registrations and the event is capped at 750 participants.

Do I need a paper ticket?
No.

Where do I pick up my t-shirt and packet? Can I pick up my friend’s packet?
Early packet pick-up will be held at The Foot Store (1909 N Highway 17 Mt. Pleasant, SC in Town Center) on April 18th from 12pm to 7pm. Packet pick-up on Race Day, April 19, will be held at the Charleston Maritime Center from 3:00pm - 5:30 pm.

Registrants can pick up a friend’s or team packet by signing for the packet. If you pick up a race packet and your friend/team does not get that packet, they will not be issued a new packet (which includes race number, timing chip and t-shirt).

What if there is bad weather?
The iFive:K is a rain or shine event. Should there be inclement weather or street flooding, there will be no rain date or rescheduling of the event; no refunds will be given. However, the iFive:K will make every effort to provide a meaningful event.

What happens if I become injured after I enter and cannot participate?
There are no medical comps, rollovers or refunds. Transfers of registration must be completed prior to two weeks before the race and are at the discretion of the race director.

Where is the starting line? When should I get there?
The race starts and finishes at the corner of Laurens and Wharfside near the Charleston Maritime Center located at 10 Wharfside Street downtown Charleston. There will be directional signs, as well as volunteers onsite to assist you should you have problems locating the starting line. You can also view the course map. We suggest arriving at the Maritime Center no later than 5:00 pm. The race will start promptly at 6:00pm.

What are the parking accommodations?
Parking is available within the vicinity of the start/finish line and within short walking distance. Local pay lots and street parking is available near the Charleston Maritime Center, as well as the SC Aquarium Garage. Click here to view the parking map. Note: Infractions resulting from illegal parking are not the responsibility of the iFive:K.

Can I walk?
Yes! This is a run/walk/shuffle! We ask that you start closer to the back of the line to allow runners to make their best time.

If I’m unable to participate in the race, can I still attend the after party?
Yes. If you do not plan to participate in the race, you can attend the after party. The admission fee is $10, please email info@ifivek.com for details or call 843.579.7508.

Can I bring my stroller/dog?
Yes! The iFive:K is a fun, family event! Strollers, wheelchairs and dogs on leash are welcome. We ask that parties with dogs and strollers start near the back of the line to allow runners to make their best time.

Will there be bag-check facility?
There is no bag check. Please plan accordingly.

Will there be awards?
Prizes are presented to the top three Male and Female runners. Awards are also given to the top three Male and Female runners in each age category. Age categories include: 1-10; 11-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60+.

The iFive:K also has a team component! Compete in teams of two, six or ten to have your team named on the iFive:K "Bragging Rights Trophy." Does your team have the most spirit? If so, you could win the PeopleMatter SPIRIT Award at the BoomTown after party. Participants registered as a team are also entered into the competition as individuals.
