How much is the entry fee?
The iFiveK race entry fee is broken down into four tiers based on time of registration. All tickets include free parking in the CTC garage.
- Early registration - $42.50
- Regular registration - $47.50
- Late registration fee - $55.00
- "After-party" only fee - $30.00
The race registration fee includes free parking in the CTC garage post-race "after-party" celebration.
How do I register for the race?
Registration for the iFiveK is online only at RunSignUp. Please note that there are no race day registrations.
Do I need a paper ticket?
Where do I pick up my t-shirt and packet? Can I pick up my friend’s packet?
Early packet pick-up is held at the Charleston Tech Center (997 Morrison Drive) for the two days (April 16 & 17) before Race Day from 9am to 12pm and on race day from 4:00pm - 5:00pm.
Registrants can pick up a friend's or team packet by signing for the packet. If you pick up a race packet and your friend/team does not get that packet, they will not be issued a new packet (which includes race number, timing chip and t-shirt).
What if there is bad weather?
The iFiveK is a rain or shine event. Should there be inclement weather or flooding, there will be no rain date or rescheduling of the event; no refunds will be given. However, we will make every effort to provide a truly meaningful event despite inclement weather.
What happens if I become injured after I enter and cannot participate?
There are no medical comps, rollovers or refunds. Transfers of registration must be completed prior to two weeks before the race and are at the discretion of the race director.
Where is the starting line? When should I get there?
The race starts and finishes at Conroy and N. Hanover Streets. There will be directional signs, as well as volunteers onsite to assist you should you have problems locating the starting line. We suggest arriving at the Charleston Tech Center no later than 6:00 pm. The race will start promptly at 6:30pm.
Where do I park for the event?
Parking is located at the Charleston Tech Center Garage (4 Conroy Street). Your race bib serves as your entrance to the garage.
Note: Parking is $5.00 (cash only) for those with no race bib.
Can I walk?
Absolutely! You are welcome to walk. We ask that you start closer to the back of the line to allow runners to make their best time and observe the designated lane for walkers and shufflers.
Can I bring my baby stroller? Can I bring my dog?
Yes! The iFiveK is a fun, family event! Strollers, babies, and toddlers are all welcome. Well-behaved dogs (on a leash, of course) are also welcome. We ask that those participating with kids or pets start near the back of the line to allow runners a clear path to their best time and stay in the designated lane for walkers and shufflers.
Will there be bag-check facility?
There is no bag check. Please plan accordingly.
Will there be awards or prizes?
Prizes are presented to the top three Male and Female runners in seven age brackets and in the team category.
